SunstarTV Bureau: An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 hit Alwar district at 11.46 pm in Rajasthan, on Thursday said, the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
According to the Ministry of Earth Science’s NCS, the epicenter of the quake was Alwar in Rajasthan and the tremors of earthquake also were felt in Delhi-NCR (Gurgaon, Ghaziabad and Noida).
NCS tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude 3.0, Occurred on 17-12-2020, 11:26:01 IST, Lat: 27.40 and Long: 75.43, Depth: 5 Km, Location: 64km NW of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.”

Till now there are no causalities or damage to the properties as earthquakes of less than five magnitude are unlikely to cause any large-scale damage.
