SunstarTV Bureau: Supreme Court orders all State governments and Union Territories to form committees to undertake monthly fire safety audit of all hospitals.
In the order the apex court also includes COVID19 hospitals, to be audited every month.
SC says every state government must appoint a nodal officer to ensure adherence to fire safety norms in the hospitals.
To avoid the fire mishaps in the hospitals, that has been witnessed in recent times, the Supreme Court has taken this noteworthy step.
