Sunstartv(Bhubaneswar) :Bhubaneswar Land Use Intelligence System (BLUIS)-a 5T project implemented by Government in General Administration & Public Grievance Department in collaboration with BDA, BMC and ORSAC – was awarded the Gold category award by Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of Personnel in the 24th National Conference on e-Governance organized by Government of India. The award was received by Additional Chief Secretary and Agriculture Production Commissioner Agriculture Production Commissioner Sri Sanjeev Chopra, along with Sri Prafulla Mallik, CEO, ORSAC, Sri Prem Chandra Chaudhury, CEO, Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya and Sri Sushanta Kumar Mohanty, Director of Estates. The project uses cutting edge technology including satellite imagery and Artificial Intelligence to safeguard precious Government land in the Capital City. BLUIS competed with 89 high-tech projects of Central and State Government agencies to emerge victorious.
It may be pertinent here to mention that BLUIS was launched by Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik, on 8 July 2020. While complementing the Department and ORSAC for the accomplishment, Chief Secretary Sri Suresh Chnadra Mahapatra advised to have more of the innovative technological applications for supporting the quick and informed decision making.
