SunstarTV Bureau: President Ram Nath Kovind will inaugurate 80th All India Presiding Officers’ Conference (AIPOC) at Kevadia in Gujarat on November 25.
The two-day conference is being organised by Lok Sabha to celebrate the Constitution Day and discuss how to ideally maintain coordination among Legislature, Judiciary & Executive to strengthen democracy.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had earlier announced the date and place of All India Presiding Officers Conference (AIPOC) 2020.
“Conference to be held on 25th-26th Nov in Gujarat’s Kevedia. The topic focuses on how ideal coordination among Legislature, Judiciary & Executive can strengthen democracy,” he says.
Notably, in January this year Odisha Assembly Speaker SN Patro was nominated as the two other members of the panel.
Patro has already been nominated as one of the members of the Committee constituted by LS Speaker to look into the aspects of making the business of Legislative Assemblies paperless.
