SunstarTV Bureau: The Indian Air Force has released notification for Airmen posts in Group ‘X’ (except Education Instructor Trade) and Group ‘Y’ (Except Indian Air Force Security and Musician) Trades.
Eligible candidates can apply against the vacancies on or before February 7, 2021.
The notice mentioned, “Online Registration shall commence at 1000h on 22 January 2021 and will close at 1700h on 07 February 2021. Only online registered applications shall be accepted”.
Educational Eligibility:
X Trade: Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English or three-year Diploma course in Engineering in any stream.
Y Trade: Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/ State Education Boards with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English.
For Medical Assistant Trade in Y Trade: Passed 10+2/ Intermediate/ equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English.
Age Limit: Candidates applying for the positions should have born between 16-01-2001 and 29-12-2004 (both days inclusive). The Upper age limit to apply for both the Trades is 21 years.
Examination Fee: Candidates will have to pay Rs 250, while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/ Internet Banking.
Exam Pattern for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021:
Group ‘X’ Trade: Total duration of the online test shall be 60 minutes and shall comprise questions on English, Physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
Group ‘Y’ Trade: Total duration of the online test shall be 45 minutes and shall comprise questions on English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning and General Awareness (RAGA).
Both Group ‘X’ & ‘Y’ Trades: Total duration of the online test shall be 85 minutes and shall comprise questions on English, Physics, and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning and General Awareness (RAGA).
Marking pattern for online test:
(i) One mark for every correct answer.
(ii) Nil (0) marks for un-attempted question.
(iii) 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
