SunstarTV Bureau: As per Johns Hopkins University statement, the caseload of Coronavirus has increased to nearly 88 million. However, the death toll has upsurge to more than 1.89 million.
According to University Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) report, the current global caseload stood at 87,952,778 and the death toll at 1,895,925. With the world’s highest number of cases and deaths, the US record 21,543,310 and 364,735, respectively. Following the US, India stands second with 10,395,278 Covid cases and a 1,52,336 death toll.
Other countries as Brazil with 7,961,673, UK with 2,898,037, Spain with 2,024,90, Iran with 1,268,263 and South Africa with 1,170,590 Covid cases. However, the recorded death toll in several countries are Mexico with 129,987, Italy with 77,291, Russia with 59,628, Spain with 51,675, and Colombia with 45,067, reported CSSE.
