SunstarTV Bureau: Puri collector Balwant Singh announced for reopening of Puri Jagannath temple from 23 December, here today.
According to reports, the holy shrine will be allowed for the family members of the temple staffs for the first two days (23-24 December).
The natives of Puri can visit the temple from 25th to 26th December. The visiting to the temple will be maintained in strict adherence to COVID guidelines.
Devotees from across the world can visit the temple from 3rd January, 2021. While the devotees are being restless to meet the deity Shree Jagannath, the government has been keeping the temple shut since April due to the hit of COVID pandemic.
