SunstarTV Bureau: Game two of India-Australia ODI has started with Sydney getting hotter with 39◦C, as the baked earth gives back its heat with a vengeance later in the afternoon.

Australia captain Aaron Finch has won the toss and elected to bat first. That is a very big advantage on a stinking hot day.

As far as the cricket goes, none of the either team wanted to be fielding first. Especially because the over rates that was seen on last match, mean that it’ll be fielding for four hours.

Australia won the first match comfortably with a clinical batting display. Huge opening partnership from Finch and Warner, super-fast ton to follow from Smith, ridonkulus hitting display from Maxwell lead the way towards victory for Australia. The score got close to 400, the Indians could not match it.  Young up-and-comer skipper Virat Kohli didn’t make a big score.

Today’s team for Australia:

Aaron Finch (Skipper), David Warner, Steven Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Maxwell, Moises Henriques, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa and Josh Hazlewood.

Virat Kohli, meanwhile, is putting out an identical team:

Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Agarwal, Virat Kohli (captain), Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Navdeep Saini, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal.
