SunstarTV Bureau: The Higher Education Department is planning to reopen the collages and universities across the state, from January 2021.
Earlier on December 7, the Secretary of Higher Education Department, Saswat Mishra, mentioned, “The Higher Education Department had written to Universities and Colleges not to conduct examination till the physical mode of teaching is resumed in their respective educational institutions’.
As examinations cannot be conducted only on the basis of online teaching as there is a chances that many students may not have understood the subjects properly or not attended the classes due to the lag infacilities such as electricity . Hence, it can also affect the percentage of the students.
However, the final decision in this regard will be taken by the Odisha government after reviewing all aspects including the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the State.
