SunstarTV Bureau: The swearing-in ceremony of the new cabinet Bhupendra Patel government has been held in Gujarat. Governor Acharya Debabrata has sworn the ministers at the Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar. But most importantly, Vijay Rupani’s cabinet has been ruled out. The old face has not been replaced in the new cabinet. Even Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has been removed from the cabinet.
Bhupendra Patel’s new cabinet has given importance to all. Twenty-four ministers have been sworn in. Among them, eight are cabinet ministers and 15 are state ministers. Most importantly, Gujarat Assembly Speaker Rajendra Trivedi has also resigned and been given the post of minister.
The ministers included in the new team of CM Bhupendra are Parani MLA Kanubhai Desai, MLA Naresh Patel from Ganadevi Assembly constituency, Limbadi MLA Kirit Singh Rana, Morbi MLA Brajesh Merja, Jamnagar Rural MLA Raghavji Patel, Hrishikesh Patel and Arvind Reiyanni. Similarly, among women, Manisha Wakkil, Kirti Baghela and Nimisha Ben have given ministerial posts.
According to information received from the Chief Minister’s Office, the first cabinet meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held at 6.30 pm today under the chairmanship of CM Bhupendra Patel. It is learned that the department will be distributed after the cabinet meeting.
