SunstarTV Bureau: The Delhi Police Special Cell busted organized terrorist module of Pakistan and has arrested six terrorists for plotting anti-nationalism executive plans for India, reported sources. However, two of them are the militants returned from Pakistan after training.
In a press conference, it was told that the festivals coming on the target of terrorists were Navratri, Dussegra and Deepawali. Besides, they told about the David’s connections to the arrested terrorists have also come to light.
Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI, and the Underworld have been linked to the terrorist attack. Together with ISI Underworld, it has adopted a new strategy to double India. One of the groups was planning to explode bombs and in crowded areas during Navratra and Ramlila.
Neeraj Thakur, special police commissioner (special cell) of the Delhi Police, said the input from the central agency was that a group of Pakistani-sponsored organization was planning to execute a serial bomb explode in India. The bomber struck shortly planned from outside of country’s border. However, the network of all these terrorists has spread too many parts of the country including Delhi, UP and Maharashtra.
Based on the intelligence, a special team was formed under the supervision of ACP Lalit Mohan Negi and Hriday Bhushan, consisting of Inspector Suniz Rajan, Inspector Rabindra Yoshi and Binay Pal. Search operations were launched in several parts of the country at the same time. Many teams were sent to Mumbai, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Ray Bareilly and Pratapgarh. On the similar time, the Special Cell team raided the site.
The first culprit Jan Mohammad Sheikh alias Sameer Kalia, 47, of Soshal Nagar, Mumbai, was arrested near Kota in Rajasthan. He was traveling to Delhi. Osama alias Sami, 22, a resident of Jamia Nagar, Okhla, Delhi, was later arrested from Okhla followed by, Mohammad Abu Bakr, 23, a resident of Yapu, Delhi Bahraichar, from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi, Jishan Kamar, 28, a resident of Kareli in Allahabad, from Mohammad Aamir Javedi, 31, of Bakshikar from Lucknow, and Mulchand aka Saju, 47, arrested from Ray Bareilly.
UP ATS assisted the Delhi Police in the noted operation. Osama and Jishan went to Pakistan for training in April. There he learned to make explosives and run weapons. During the interrogation, it came to fore that the module was obtained from a sleeper cell operator with IEDs, grenades, pistols and ammunition.
