Mumbai (SunstarTV Bureau): While Maharashtra currently under the scare of Covid-19, in a recent incident, a woman in Mumbai was seen without mask and carelessly beating a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) civic worker on road.
The video of this entire incident has gone on social media. In the video, it can clearly be deciphered that the woman was flouting Covid-19 safety guidelines by travelling in a public space without a mask.
Meanwhile, Maha Chief Minister Uddhav Thackrey has asked social people to follow Covid-19 safety guidelines without flaunting any rules.
According to sources, the female BMC worker asked her about the mask, the woman stepped out of the auto and started beating and kicking her. The BMC worker grabbed the woman and refused to let her go despite the woman continuing to slap and kick her.

The viral video has garnered lakhs of views and several hundred comments on Instagram and has left netizens enraged with many demanding for her arrest and strict penalty.
The sudden rise in Covid-19 cases in the Maharashtra is a cause of worry not just for state authorities but for common public as well. On Thursday (March 18), the state recorded a whopping 25,833 cases in a single day. There is the highest number of cases reported in 24 hours in the state since the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
Currently there are 2.4 million active cases in Maharashtra. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has asked everyone to follow Covid-19 safety guidelines strictly and always wear a mask.
