SunstarTV Bureau: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference Party chief Farooq Abdullah has now fallen in love with Taliban. Farooq Abdullah also advised the Modi government that, “India should hold talks with the Taliban government in Afghanistan”.
“What is the harm in having relations with Taliban? The Taliban is in power now, so we should talk to them,” Farooq said. He further urged India to invest in Afghanistan.
“India has already invested thousands of crores rupees there. Investments have been made there through various schemes. So it is important to talk to the Taliban, who are in power in Afghanistan. Since you have invested so much, what would be the harm if you had a relationship with them?” said Abdullah.
Kabul was captured by the Taliban on August 15, on the day of India’s independence. It then began its brutality by declaring its dominance over Afghanistan. But India maintained its distance from Taliban communities. Even now, India is completely away from the Taliban. The central government is moving forward by considering the history of the Taliban.
