SunstarTV Bureau: During his visit to the United States, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met Vivek Lal, an Indian-born and CEO of General Atomics. In this regard, the Prime Minister also discussed about India’s defense strategy.
Last year in 2020, Vivek Lal has played a key role in India’s buying of many weapons. A number of defense agreements have been signed between India and the United States under the auspices of Vivek Lal.

During the talks, Vivek supported India’s new defense policy and also encouraged the country.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the use of drones will increase in the upcoming days. The Indian drone policy has been discussed among Modi’s conscience.
Notably, General Atomics is one of the world’s largest domestic defense equipment companies. India will buy Target Predator drones from General Atomics which ultimately extent the strengthening ability of India’s military force, reported.
