SunstarTV Bureau: In a major change of guard, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Sukant Majumdar as the party’s president by replacing Dillip Ghosh. Meanwhile, Ghosh has been appointed as the national vice-president.
Former Uttarakhand Governor Baby Rani Maurya has also been given the post of National Vice President. The statement has issued by the BJP general secretary Arun Singh. BJP president JP Nadda has appointed MP Sukant Majumdar as West Bengal BJP president.
West Bengal Balurghat MP Majumdar to take place of Dillip Ghosh. Nadda has recently appointed Baby Rani Morya, who recently resigned as Uttarakhand Governor, as the National Vice President. It was also rumored that the Baby Rani might get some big responsibilities in the party before the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
