It also called for the abolition of private mandis, the payment of subsidized prices to farmers, and the recognition of skin workers as workers by implementing the recommendations of the 45-46th Labor Conference. The meeting was attended by Pranati Mishra, president of the National Labor Congress, Satyabrata Nayak, president of the youth wing, Vijay Jena of AITUC, Birendra Pratap Das of HMS, Ramesh Jena of CITU, Niranjan Mohanty of AITUC, those called for roadside meetings and distribution of wall letters.
