Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has reacted to the situation in Kabul. “India is keeping a close eye on it,” he said. On behalf of any country, Rajnath said that no one could take advantage of the crisis in Afghanistan to create border terrorism within India. The government is trying its best.
Rajnath said that the government was concerned about the security of Indians in Afghanistan. In addition, no foreign country wants to use the situation to spread terrorism on our borders. On the bitterness in the LAC in eastern Ladakh, the defense minister said China had violated the agreed protocol last year by creating a military conflict in eastern Ladakh. But India won’t allow unilateral action under the Line of Actual Control.
“There are differences of opinion, but there are agreements and protocols that both countries followed while patrolling,” Mr Singh said. Speaking on a virtual platform, Rajnath Singh said it had been a year since the Galvan clashes in eastern Ladakh, where 20 Indian troops had been killed in an unfortunate clash with China. But the future generation will always be proud of the heroism of the brave.
