SunstarTV Bureau: In the last phase of the West Bengal assembly elections, 8,493,255 people spread across 35 Assembly constituencies are expected to exercise their franchise to elect their representatives from a total of 283 candidates.
Meanwhile, the results will be declared along with the results of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Assam and Puducherry on May 2.
As seven out of the 11 Kolkata assembly segments go to polls in the last phase of the assembly election on Thursday, parties are concerned over a low turnout, especially after a drop in polling percentage in four.
