Hyderabad (SunstarTV Bureau): The Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the ‘Pediatric Rare Genetic Disorders Laboratory’ on the Silver Jubilee of the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) on Saturday.
“Abnormal increase in crime rate has been the major problem in the world. I’m glad that CDFD is providing state-of-the-art DNA fingerprinting service to courts, NIA, CBI for correct judgment in criminal cases and providing relief to disaster victims’ families. That is why we call it unique institution,” said Naidu addressing CDFD as a unique institution.
Meanwhile, Naidu further stated over the importance of agriculture sector.
According to him, more than 60 percent of the country’s population, depending upon the agriculture. Therefore, the sector should need protection, encouragement along with more research.
“The initiative would further help the people to make their lives better,” Naidu further added.
