New Delhi (SunstarTV Bureau): Once again in Delhi, the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has hiked the price of a 14.2 kg cooking cylinder which amounted to Rs 50 costlier.
The new rate has already been applied on Monday onwards (12 am), said report.
“Without subsidy, the rate of a gas cylinder will be worth at Rs 769,” one spokesperson informed from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).
According to sources, the price of the gas cylinders has been determined by state-run oil companies and always revised on a monthly basis. However, the prices fluctuate on depending over international fuel rates and US dollar-rupee exchange rates.
Notably, on December 1, 2020, the price was hiked by a similar Rs 50 per cylinder, followed by hike of Rs 50 again on December 16 due to firming of international prices.
