Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Regional Meteorological Department has informed that several places in state witnessed mercury dip below 10 degree Celsius in 10 places.
The Met department informed that Udaigiri and Phulbani recorded minimum temperature at 4.5 degree Celsius while Daringibadi recorded 7.5 degree Celsius, Bolangir 7.8, Jharsuguda and Keonjhar 8.2, Bhawanipatna 8.5, Sonepur 9.5, Angul and Baripada 9.6, Cuttack 11.8 and Bhubaneswar recorded 13 degree Celsius in last 24 hours.
However, Boudh recorded the highest temperature of 30 degree in Odisha.
Besides, shallow to moderate fog alert also issued to several parts of Odisha including Koraput and Malkangiri.
Similarly, orange warning issued for Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Bolangir and Kandhamal for today and Yellow warning for Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sonepur, Boudh, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Nayagarh and Khurda districts.
