Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureu): DMET director has informed about the academic session at the Puri Medical College and Hospital will begin this year, on Wednesday.
The student intake capacity of the medical college is 100 per year.
According to DMET director CBK Mohanty, “Admission of the students in the medical college will start from this year.” He further informed about the Puri medical college and hospital to have a capacity of 750 beds.
Notably, Mohanty was in Puri over an inspection of the district hospital and infrastructural development at the medical college.
In 2015, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik had laid the foundation stone of the Puri Medical College and Hospital under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY).
