SunstarTV Bureau: A joint team of Airfield Police and Quick Action Team (QAT) have busted a duplicate ghee manufacturing factory at Kaibalya Nagar in Sundarpada area, on Tuesday.
After a series of crackdown on food adulteration units in Cuttack, police team and QAT officials carried out a raid at the illegal factory and seized huge amount of adulterated ghee, machines and raw materials used to prepare the product.
Commissionerate Police had unearthed major adulterating manufacturing units and several other spurious food processing units in Cuttack area.
From duplicate tea to synthetic paneer, it may be ghee or even edible oils adulteration of several food items had continued to spread concerns in the Silver City.
