SunstarTV Bureau: The Johns Hopkins University has examined the number of global Covid-19 cases which has surpasses the 90 million mark, while the death cases surged above 1.92 million marks.
As per the latest given statement of Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE), till Monday morning the current global caseload stood at 90,237,469 while the death toll counted to 1,934,096.
The US country recorded the world’s highest Covid cases and death rates at 22,385,975 and 3,74,072 respectively. Following US, India stands at second place with 10,450,284 Cases and with 1,50,999 death cases.
According to CSSE reports, other countries with more than a million confirmed cases are Brazil with 8,105,790, Russia with 3,366,715, the UK with 3,081,368, France with 2,840,864, Turkey with 2,326,256, Italy with 2,276,491, Spain with 2,050,360, Germany with 1,929,410 and Colombia with 1,786,900.
The second highest number death toll recorded in Brazil at 2,03,100. Following Brazil, Mexico with 133,706, the UK with 81,567, Italy with 78,755, France with 67,885 and Russia with 60,963.
