SunstarTV Bureau: On Farah Khan’s birthday, crispy and hot news from the Bollywood industry now taking the netizens’ attention as once she asked the famous Bollywood director Karan Johar to marry her. However, Karan rejected her marriage proposal by citing a ‘technical problem’.
As today, Khan marks her 56th birthday, many cine lovers have been taking a trip down memory lane with unearthed reports about how she was turned down by Karan when she proposed.
The gossip takes headed on a chat show ‘Yaaron Ki Baaraat’, where Johar confessed the story to Farah’s brother Sajid Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh that she was interested in him at one point.
“Bahat koshish kit hi mere saath (She pursued me a lot),” Karan said, and surprisingly, Farah too accepted the one.
“During the shoot of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ in Scotland, Farah fled to his hotel room at late night”, Johar added.
Besides, Farah too revealed that she once asked Karan to marry him but he dumped her proposal. “There was a technical problem,” he laughed, adding, “Television ka tower bhi chalna chahiye, so I said iss TV ko off hi kar do. That is why maine bol diya no (The television tower needs to work as well, so I said let’s just turn off this TV. That is why I said no).”
