Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): In the wake of Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, after a gap of over nine months, cinema halls, theaters and multiplexes are reopened in Odisha today.
Several cinema halls in Bhubaneswar including Keshari hall, Maharaja, INOX at Cinepolish at Esplanade one mall and Symphony Mall have scheduled to screen shows from today. Similarly, Sangam Cineplex in Cuttack is also scheduled to open today.
As per State government issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Cineplex are allowed to intake with 50 per cent seating capacity for people.
As per Covid guidelines, along with thermal screening, wearing of face masks and hand sanitizing are mandatory for all prior to entry. People with Covid- 19 symptoms will not be allowed inside the halls. The seat between two persons will not be allowed for occupancy.
However, food from outside are prohibited for movie watchers.
The prices of tickets have mostly remained the same as prior of the pandemic. Online booking and payment in digital mode are being encouraged by the halls, added reports.
