SunstarTV Bureau: Cold wind prevails over Odisha, with at least 11 places witnessing a mercury drop below 11◦C, informed the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
Phulabani is the coldest city, recording the lowest temperature of 5.5◦ C on previous night, stated regional Meteorological Centre.
According to the weather office, Phulabani is followed by Jharsuguda 7.6◦ C, Anugul 8.6◦ C, Daringbadi 9.0◦ C, Baripada 8.5◦ C, Koraput 8.6◦ C, Bhabanipatna 9.2◦ C, Balangir 9.4◦ C, Keonjhar 9.5◦ C, Boudh 10.5◦ C and Talcher 10.6◦ C.
While Cuttack experienced 11◦ C, Bhubaneswar witnessed one of the coldest nights of this year 13.9◦ C.
Meteorological department further predicts a fall of temperature up to 3 to 4◦ C in upcoming days.
