SunstarTV Bureau: Odisha government has launched two boat ambulances service in the Swabhiman Anchal of Malkangiri district.
These boat ambulances have been provided for the emergency health delivery service in remote pocket area of Malkangiri district and medical care for people living in cut-off areas.
This boat ambulance service was inaugurated by Collector, Yeddula Vijay in the presence of other officials of the district administration.

The service will benefit more than 20,000 residents of over 40 villages in the area having no road communication. It has two station one at Arapadar and another at Kuntarpadar.
The boat ambulances have been connected with the 108 Ambulance Service that can be availed by dialing the emergency number. The ambulances are also fitted with GPS devices.
