SunstarTV Bureau: Odisha Government launched a single emergency helpline number ‘112’ to provide all kind of assistance by the police to help the public.
With this, people in the state will not need to dial different numbers for emergency services of police, ambulance, fire brigade and women helpline.
The helpline number will come into action soon. The helpline number ‘112’ will provide all the emergency services to the laymen by police.
Besides, the Government also approved creation of 1098 posts in police department for providing fast services.
