Washington (SunstarTV Bureau): The Johns Hopkins University has examined the number of global Covid-19 cases which has surpassed the 109 million mark, while the death cases surged above 2.40 million marks.
As per the latest given statement of the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE), till Tuesday morning the current global caseload stood at 109,140,617while the death toll counted to 2,407,537.
The US country recorded the world’s highest Covid-19 cases and death rates at 27,692,690 and 486,317 respectively. Following US, India stands in second place with 10,916,589 recorded Covid-19 cases and fourth in fatalities rate of 155,732 which recorded.
According to CSSE reports, other countries with more than a million confirmed cases are Brazil with 9,866,710, Russia with 4,040,505, the UK with 4,059,695, France with 3,528,856, Spain with 3,086,286 and Italy with 2,729,223.
The second-highest number death toll recorded in Brazil at 2,39,773. Following Brazil, Mexico with 1,74,657, the UK with 1,17,622, Italy with 93,835, France with 82,374 cases have been recorded so far.
