New Delhi (SunstarTV Bureau): Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the fallen soldiers at National War Memorial on the 50th-anniversary of the 1971 India-Pakistan war, here today.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, on Wednesday extended their wishes to countrymen on the occasion of the Vijay Diwas, a historic day that made Bangladesh an independent country. The Ministers saluted the bravery and courage of the Indian Army.

“I’d like to say there’ve been no major intrusions or face-offs in Eastern Command area since friction in Ladakh. Post-Galwan incident, mutual trust on LAC between us & Chinese PLA evaporated & will take time to stabilise,” said GoC Eastern Command Lt Gen Anil Chauhan on account of Vijay Diwas.
