SunstarTV Bureau: Former US President, Barack Obama’s description of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in his memoir ‘A Promised Land’ has broke the internet.
In the memoir Obama said, “Rahul Gandhi has a nervous, unformed quality about him, as if he were a student who would done the coursework and was eager to impress the teacher but deep down lacked either the aptitude or the passion to master the subject.”
In the Obama’s memoir ‘A Promised Land’, amongst other issues, the first coloured US President has talked about many political leaders from around the world.
The book has depicted handsomeness of many male leaders like Charlie Crist, Rahm Emanuel, former US Secretary of Defence Bob Gates, former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Though the book has elaborated impassive integrity of many men leaders, it fails to reflect the beauty of women except for one or two instances of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, reviewed The New York Times.
The 768-page memoir, expected to hit the stands on November 17.
