Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Farmers’ associations on September 27, calls Bharat Bandh, where Odisha unit of the Congress will support the Bandh, informed the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee President Niranjan Patnaik.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, various party leaders hold a meeting at Congress Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. Leaders of CPI, RJD, Samajwadi Party and NCP were present at the meeting.
According to OPCC president, the party will stage protest at Master Canteen Square in Bhubaneswar on September 23 over flood situation and power tariff hike in the state.
The Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) has given a call for complete Bharat Bandh on September 27 in protest against the three contentious farm laws.
