SunstarTV Bureau: Prior to the release of her upcoming film ‘Thalaivi’, actress Kangana Ranaut has appealed to the Maharashtra government to allow opening of cinemas so that the film industry can survive.
She has appealed to the Maharashtra government throughout her official Instagram handle. “I am appealing to the Maharashtra government to open cinemas in the state amid raising Corona cases in Maharashtra and urge the end to the end of the film industry and theatre business,” he said.
He wrote a note on his Instagram story on Tuesday morning. “Restaurants, hotels, offices, local trains are all functioning in Maharashtra. But the movie theatres are remaining shut. A Maharastra government Covid protocol implies that the virus only spreading in cinemas and theatres.
Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film Thalaivi is a biopic of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha. In the film, Kangana Ranaut would be seen as Jayalalitha. She is currently promoting her upcoming which will be released in theatres on September 10 in Hyderabad. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu language. The film’s portrayed on the life story of Jayalalitha.
