SunstarTV Bureau: India’s Saurabh Chaudhary showed his brilliance and class on Saturday as he qualified for the 10m Air Pistol Men’s final event.
Extremely competitive Olympic bringing out the better from Indian participants as Saurabh, the World No. 2, shot 586 in six series to finish among the Top 8.
Saurabh Chaudhary started with a boom getting 5 10s in the first series but nerves seemed to have kicked in as he had five successive 9s to finish with 95 in the first series.
However, he bounced back to make it to the final, raising hopes of an Indian medal on an opening day.
