Cuttack (SunstarTV Bureau): Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Panigrahi on Friday has granted bail by the Orissa High Court over job fraud case and will walk out soon from jail, informed sources.
According to sources, Pradeep was being granted bail by High Court to the legislator in connection with the Tata Motors job fraud case registered at Golanthara police station in Ganjam district.
Till now a total of six cases are pending against Panigrahi and the court has granted him bail in all the cases, paving the way for his release from Jharpada Special Jail.
Earlier on December 3, the MLA was arrested after evidences came to light suggesting that he collected money from people on behalf of Akash Kumar Pathak, son of arrested IFS officer Abhay Pathak, on the pretext of providing them jobs in Tata company.
