Class 10, Plus-2 board exams postpone in Odisha; announces CM Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Odisha government on Thursday has decided to postpone all the upcoming board examinations including Class 10th and Plus 2 in view of the surge in Covid-19 cases in State.

As per official statement issued, the class 10th examination which was scheduled to be held from May 3 has been postponed where the final decision to hold the exam will be finalized after taking review of the Covid-19 situation.

The State government and Council for Higher Secondary Education department will conduct a review of the situation in the first week of June and on the conduct of the exam. The students will get adequate time to appear in the examination,

As per the announcement, all the students of Class 9 and 10 will be promoted to Class 10 and 12, respectively without conduct of any examination.
