Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Certain disturbance escalates after a spine chilling incident that happened with a woman who was forced to solicit clients at night by her husband and being denied, the man allegedly inserted liquor bottle into the private parts of the woman.
The incident happened at Chandrasekharpur area in the Capital city, on Tuesday. Reportedly, the accused had also engaged of pushing many girls and young women into prostitution.
The accused has identified as Chandan Acharya, a native of Pattamundai in Kendrapara district, was arrested by the Chandrasekharpur police on the concerned matter.
According to victim’s complaint, her husband forced her to solicit clients at nights for money since the past seven years. However, being denied by her, he would beat her black and blue.
The incident came to fore when the victim narrated her ordeal before her mother who informed the police immediately. A team from Chandrasekharpur police Station rescued the victim from a locked room and arrested Acharya.
“Today his torture crossed all the limits when he hit me with an iron rod and insert a broken liquor bottle into my genitals,” alleged the victim.
Notably, according to victim’s ordeal she hails from Phulbani district had and came to Bhubaneswar 10 years back in search of a job. During her stay, she developed relationship with Chandan and got married. The first two year was both spent happily, however, the thing changed when her husband forced her into prostitution for some extra income.
