Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Samir Ranjan Dash, Odisha School and Mass Education Minister on Saturday said that schools will not reopen in the state and all students from class 1 to class 8 will be promoted without given any examination.
The initiative has taken by Odisha Government in a view of surge in Covid-19 cases.
Meanwhile, the government is yet to take a formal decision in this regard, informed Dash.
The Minister further said that the exams for class students will be conducted in offline mode as classes of the said students are presently underway in offline mode.
However, the new academic session may not start from the month of April this year, informed Dash.
