“I think it’s the best thing that happened to me. A lot of actors are getting chance to do different characters and especially when it’s a web series your characters are written properly. So it’s not just a 15-minutes role, it’s a properly written role,” Bobby said in a video.
We all know about Bobby, who has given some career defining performances in films like ‘Barsaat’, ‘Soldier’, ‘Gupt: The Hidden Truth’, ‘Bichhoo’ etc.
However, he confessed to relying on alcohol before he got his big screen break on OTT platform.
After a hiatus of 4 years, once again he returned to the silver screen with ‘Race 3’. It was in the mid 2000s that Bobby’s career began to dwindle. Ever since then, Bobby has made several attempts to revive himself. He did movies like Dostana and Yamala Pagala Deewana movies etc. But fame was short-lived.
“I have been trying myself to do different characters. I have reached a stage in my career, where I have been searching for them,” said actor.
He also debuted as a DJ at one of Delhi’s nightclubs. Reportedly, the guests demanded a refund after Bobby only played songs from his film ‘Gupt’. Later the actor clarified that he practically conned into DJ-ing.
It’s been over a two-decade-run for Bobby expressing happiness on his newfound success, he wrote on his Instagram handle, “To be in this moment with my mother.”
