Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Regional Meteorological Department has issued yellow warning of rainfall and thunderstorm alert in State on Friday.

As per the latest report issued by Indian Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation over costal Andhra Pradesh & neighbourhood now lies over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh & neighbourhood between 1.5 & 3.1 km above mean sea level.

The districts of Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Bolangir, Ganjam & Sonepur are about to experience the rainfall and thundershower at one or two places.

Meanwhile, the impact of light to moderate rainfall is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Gajapati & Bolangir and light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.

Similarly, light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and dry weather most likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha between 8.30 am of February 20 and 8.30 am of February 21.

Meanwhile, the highest maximum temperature of 34.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Bolangir and the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius was recorded at Sundargarh in the plains of Odisha.
