Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): As many as 20 police personnel from Odisha have been selected to receive Governor’s Medal for the year 2020 for their outstanding contribution to the society in the field of police and vigilance.
Including two IPS officers, the 18 others to get the honour in seven categories, officials said.
Two senior officers, Jay Narayan Pankaj (DIG, STF, CID CB) and Anirudha Kumar Singh (DIG, SW) have been selected for the honour. Similarly, Brigesh Kumar Rai (Ganjam Superintendent of Police) and Mitrabhanu Mohapatra (Keonjhar SP) will to be confronted with this prestigious award.
