Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued dense fog alert to ten districts of Odisha as an advisory issued by the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) on Saturday.
As per the IMD’s report, dense fog is very likely to occur in the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Puri, Kandhamal, Angul, and Cuttack from tonight till tomorrow morning.
Similarly, fog alert is very likely to occur in the districts of Cuttack, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Kandhamal, Balasore, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Kendrapara from Sunday night till Monday morning.
People are advised to stay alert during travelling. Besides, SRC also directed police and transport department officials to take necessary steps for controlled plying of vehicles on highways during dense fog situation.
