SunstarTV Bureau: The Johns Hopkins University has examined the number of global Covid-19 cases which has surpasses the 95 million mark, while the death cases surged above 2.02 million marks.
As per the latest given statement of Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE), till Friday morning the current global caseload stood at 95,003,533 while the death toll counted to 2,029,938.
The US country recorded the world’s highest Covid cases and death rates at 23,928,643 and 3,97,532 respectively. Following US, India stands at second place with 10,557,985 Cases and with 1,52,274 death cases.
According to CSSE reports, other countries with more than a million confirmed cases are Brazil with 8,488,099, Russia with 3,530,379, the UK with 3,405,740, France with 2,969,091, Turkey with 2,387,101, Italy with 2,381,277, Spain with 2,252,164, Germany with 2,050,129 and Colombia with 1,908,413.
The second highest number death toll recorded in Brazil at 2,09,847. Following Brazil, Mexico with 1,40,241, the UK with 89,429, Italy with 82,177, France with 70,422 and Russia with 64,601.
