On this era we are living, it has been always hectic for a job aspirant to the way in time for family, friends and colleagues. But there it comes a weekend which let flows in some tempo in our life. We all tend to appears in a vivacious surrounding where we shuffle into partying with our own mates.
So here we go with some tips to make our owns weekend a jolly and wonderful day ahead.
Make a List of your jolly work
First, make a list of things you enjoy or would like to know more about or experience. A challenging interesting fact you may choose which would make you agile as the interest that you carry.
It can be photography, art, bungee jumping. Rock climbing, exploring nature, hiking, camping, biking, mountain biking, sky diving, birding, tree spotting, scuba diving, snorkelling, hot air balloon rides, chess, fashion, jewellery making, learning to fly a helicopter or a drone, whatever interests you.
Find a place to spend time
Next, find places where you can do these or learn how to do it. Enrol for a course in say photography. Get the right gear and set out to take amazing photos that you can even sell on the internet if you get some cool picture.
Schedule your weekend in such a way that you book all the time you want to grow as a person instead of wasting your precious weekend on nothingness.
Invite your friends and be a Master Chef
Invite friends over for pancakes at your house, cook a fancy meal a-la Master Chef and let each one bring something. For example dessert, wine etc. Make it a fun day and even tidy up together if it’s offered.
Take a deep breath; be a daredevil
Jump in at the deep end, pretend you know what you are doing, even if you’re don’t. (Exception for skydiving and flying a helicopter, you have to learn first and know what you’re doing).
Don’t leave any stressful task for Sunday evening
Yes, you should spend the weekend recharging your batteries and getting much-needed rest. However, you can still sneak in some things you don’t want but need to do, and do them in small increments. For example, do your grocery shopping early Sunday evening after you’re done with your hike. Pay bills, do your homework or draft a few work emails earlier in the morning over a hot cup of coffee and some music before you head out to something fun you’ve planned with friends. Then, spend the night relaxing, making a nice dinner, and watching a good movie.
‘Photography’ is the best option
Set challenges for yourself for instance, back to photography, see how many photos of a building with a dome roof you can take in one day. Or how many photos of pink roses you can take. How many flowers with a bee on you can snap. It may sound strange, but once you set out on your mission on Sunday morning, you will be surprised how interesting your day becomes. You could end up having lunch at a place you never even dreamed exists. You could come home with so many beautiful images, that you’d want to share it with the world (or all your friends for starters) on your Instagram page.
Be Honest to yourself
So you have to start being honest with yourself. The computer games, TV, and PlayStation are just not going to cut it for you anymore. You have more important things to do.
The amount of new and interesting people you will meet in the pursuit of your dreams will also astound you. It’s a whole new world out there, outside your apartment. And it is fantastic! Try it, you‘ll love your new life.
