SunstarTV Bureau: Bollywood Actress, Kangana Ranaut is going to star in the second part of the Manikarnika franchise, titled Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda.
According to the sources, the new film will be bigger and will be done on an international scale, adding that the team intends to make a world-class franchise of real-life women heroes.
The idea is to bring forgotten woman heroes who have constructed the true identity of Bharat, the sources added.

In a tweet, Kangana wrote, “Humara bharatvarsh sakshi raha hai Jhansi ki rani jaise kai veeranganao ki kahaani ka. Aisi hi ek aur ankahee veergatha hai Kashmir ki ek rani ki, jisne Mahmud Ghaznavi ko ek nahi, do baar haraya (India has seen several bravehearts like the queen of Jhansi. Another such untold story of heroism is of a queen from Kashmir, who defeated Mahmud of Ghazni not once but twice in battle).”
Kangana and producer Kamal Jain will join hands to bring back the franchise, after 2019’s Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi.
The actress had a meeting with Jain last week and locked their new script.
