SunstarTV Bureau: Odisha continues to face the wrath of the winter wind, with at least 10 places witnessing a mercury drop below 10◦C, informed the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
Phulabani is the coldest city, recording the lowest temperature of 4.0◦ C on previous night, stated regional Meteorological Centre.
According to the weather office, Phulabani is followed by Jharsuguda 5.8◦ C, Daringbadi 6.0◦ C, Anugul 6.6◦ C, Koraput 7.0◦ C, Bhabanipatna 7.8◦ C, Balangir 8.8◦ C, Boudh 9.0◦ C, Keonjhar 9.3◦ C, and Sonepur 9.4◦ C.
While Cuttack experienced 11◦ C, Bhubaneswar witnessed one of the coldest nights of this year 12.3◦ C.
Meteorological department further predicts a fall of temperature up to 3 to 4◦ C in upcoming days.
