SunstarTV Bureau: As the world is fighting against Covid 19, millions of people are still living with HIV and waiting for their demise. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Governor Ganeshi Lal took to tweeter to aware people about the lethal disease.
World AIDS Day takes place on 1 December each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day.
“As the world fights Covid19, let us not forget that there are millions of people living with HIV/AIDS. On World AIDS Day, reiterate commitment to ensure quality and affordable healthcare, remove stigma and discrimination so that people living with AIDS can lead a normal life,” tweeted CM Naveen Patnaik.

“On World AIDS Day, let’s spread awareness about AIDS and remove stigma related to HIV and join hands to set achievable target to curb AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. Global Solidarity, Shared Responsibility’ let us fight for right to health for all,” Governor Ganeshi Lal, mentioned on his tweeter account.
