Sonepur stands as the coldest city in the Sate for second time in a row; with a temperature of 9° C. Followed by Sonepur, Phulbani and Daringbadi in Kandhamal district registered temperatures of 11.3°C and 9.5°C respectively. Angul registered 10.6°C, Kendujhar 12°C, Baripada 12.4°C, Bhawanipatna 12.8°C, Koraput 13°C, Jharsuguda 13.2°C, Bolangir 14°C and Cuttack 14.8°C.
