SunstarTV Bureau: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking for concrete details on conducting of Class 10 and 12 Board examinations for cession 2020-21.
In the letter, Patnaik mentioned about the anxiety parents and students are facing due to the uncertain academic future that hangs upon the students and parents due to Covid-19 pandemic.
“As all competitive entrance examinations and admission in institutions of high education are interlinked, national guidelines with tentative timelines will help the states frame appropriate strategy. It will also help students anxious about the exam dates to plan and prepare accordingly,” CM wrote in the letter.
Notably, CM has decided to keep the entire educational institutes in the state close till December 31, keeping an eye on the hit of second wave of Covid-19.
“We have been trying to reach out to maximum number of students digitally through different modes. But it is not possible to cover all students and prepare them for the Boards and different competitive examinations,” CM emphasized.
